Shipped direct from the manufacturer
At $11,500 this is the least expensive GeoCue instrument we carry, and for a lot of firms it is the sensible first LiDAR purchase.
Why we would start people here
It is a dome sensor with no rotating head, so there is less to break on a unit that is going to live in a vehicle. It captures 1.15 million points per second over a 360 by 189 degree field of view. And at this price it does not need to be your only instrument to justify itself, which takes a lot of pressure off the decision.
Where it runs out
It is a handheld, so it walks. If your work is corridor, large area or anything you would rather fly, this is the wrong tool and a drone payload is the right one. Plenty of firms end up owning both, and usually in that order.
Basic against Standard
Identical hardware. $3,500 buys the higher LP360 Land licence tier, and you can move up later.

Worth a call first
Handhelds are easy to specify badly, because the honest answer often depends on what you are walking through rather than what you are measuring. Describe the site and we will tell you which channel count you need.
