This receiver's accuracy depends on the correction signal you feed it, not the receiver alone

RTK stands for real time kinematic correction, satellite signal corrected as it arrives to reach centimeter accuracy. That's what gets the V10i to its headline numbers: 8 mm + 1 ppm RMS horizontal, 15 mm + 1 ppm RMS vertical. RMS, root mean square error, is the standard way positioning accuracy gets stated. Without it, the same hardware measures very differently. Autonomous, single point positioning falls to 1.5 m horizontal. SBAS, correction broadcast from satellites overhead, brings that to 60 cm; code differential correction reaches 0.4 m horizontal. The V10i carries an onboard UHF radio, rated to transmit at 2 W, and a 4G modem. Correction can come from a paired base station over radio, or a network account over cellular. Which one you have decides which number is actually yours.

The camera adds a second, independent way to measure a point without planting the pole on it

Tilt compensation corrects for a leaning pole instead of needing dead vertical. It works over a 0 to 60 degree range, using an onboard motion sensor, no separate calibration needed. A 2 MP forward camera and a 5 MP downward camera add visual positioning, reading a point from the image rather than standing over it. FJD rates that camera measurement at 3 cm typical, over 2 to 15 meters. Augmented reality stakeout, guiding you to a marked point through the camera view, holds ±2.5 cm. That needs a clean lens and a clear view; the manual's own guidance is to keep the front camera clean.

FJD's own manual disagrees with its own product page on tilt compensated RTK accuracy, and we're showing you the current page's number

Tilt compensated RTK is accuracy while the pole leans, not just when it's plumb. FJD's product and specification pages state RMS 8 mm plus 0.6 mm per degree of tilt. The manual's own appendix states a different formula: 10 mm plus 0.7 mm per degree, with a ceiling the website never mentions. That ceiling caps accuracy under 2.5 cm for tilt up to 30 degrees. We're quoting the specification page as FJD's current figure, and flagging that its own manual disagrees rather than picking a winner. For office work instead of live fieldwork, post processing accuracy runs tighter again. Once logged data is reprocessed against a fixed base point, FJD rates it at 2.5 mm plus 0.5 ppm horizontal, 5 mm plus 0.5 ppm vertical.

FJD calls it IP68, one independent listing calls it IP67, and its own cautions name real environmental limits

IP68 means sealed against dust and rated for continuous immersion to 1 meter. FJD's own product page, specification page and manual all state that, and one independent dealer agrees. A second independent listing states IP67 instead; we're going with FJD's own consistent figure. It's built to survive a 2 meter drop while mounted on a pole, FJD's own rating. Operating temperature also splits: the product and specification pages state -30 °C to 65 °C, the manual's appendix states a lower ceiling of 60 °C. The manual adds real cautions too. Keep the receiver away from people, animals, electrical wires, tall buildings, airports and signal towers, to limit GNSS interference. And never use the antenna or pole during a thunderstorm, FJD's own danger level warning.

Battery life runs 10 to over 25 hours depending on the job, and charging has a real temperature window

The onboard 7000 mAh battery runs the V10i as a rover for 15 hours, as a base for 10, or over 25 hours logging static data. It charges over USB-C at up to 30 W. The manual's charging guidance carries a real condition: charge between 0 °C and 35 °C, in a ventilated place away from direct sunlight. It also warns against plugging and unplugging the charger repeatedly while charging. External power can also come in through a separate aviation connector, at 9 to 28 volts DC. The manual instructs against powering both the USB-C port and that connector at the same time.

FJD's own manual disagrees with its own product page on Bluetooth version too, and two dealers side with the manual

The V10i's product and specification pages state Bluetooth 5.2 and BLE. FJD's own manual appendix states a lower range instead: 2.1 EDR, 3.0 HS, 4.2 LE and 5.0 LE, which tops out at 5.0. Two independent dealer listings both state Bluetooth 4.2, agreeing with the manual over FJD's website. We can't resolve that split. Treat 5.2 as the manufacturer's current claim, the lower figures as what its manual and two dealers describe. The rest of the connectivity is settled: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC for pairing, a nano SIM slot for the 4G modem, and 32 GB of onboard storage.
