TrueView GO data processes in LP360 Land and nothing else, so settle that before anything else
GeoCue states that TrueView GO data can only be processed with LP360 Land, and answers a direct question about LP360 Drone with a plain no. So the scanner and its desktop workflow are bought together, not fed into the software you already run. LP360 Land handles denoising, colorization, quality control, registration, classification and the SLAM step. SLAM is simultaneous localization and mapping, which tracks the scanner's own path while the map builds. LP360 Cloud is a separate purchase.

This listing is the Standard, the variant that puts LP360 Land Standard in the box
GeoCue publishes two purchase options for this model and names the LP360 Land license tier as what separates them. Basic covers managing and processing TrueView GO data inside the LP360 Viewer environment. Standard, this one, is described by GeoCue as access to the full suite of LP360 features. GeoCue names four things as Standard tier rather than Basic: multi-collection processing, point cloud registration, LP360 software add-ons, and the TrueView GO 360 Photo Kit. If any of those four is in the workflow, this is the listing to buy. GeoCue publishes one specification table for the TrueView GO 132S, and both purchase options sit under it. If anything beyond the software tier decides your order, call first and we will get GeoCue's answer in writing.

Thirty-two channels buy point density, which earns its cost on an as-built and not on a floor plan
GeoCue's published specification table for this model lists LiDAR beams and returns as 32/2, behind a Class 1 eye safe laser at 905 nm. Point density is what survives into the finished model. That density is worth paying for when the deliverable is a detailed as-built, or a scan-to-BIM handover where the cloud becomes a building information model. It is not worth paying for when the job is volumes or a floor plan. Usable LiDAR range is 80 m at 10 percent reflectivity, GeoCue's own condition, and total range is listed separately as 0.5 to 300 m. Plan the walk against the usable figure.

It computes coordinates where there is no satellite signal, which is what makes indoor work possible
GeoCue states the LiDAR and the three 5 MP cameras together integrate GNSS RTK and PPK, laser and visual SLAM. RTK is correction applied live, PPK the same correction applied afterward from logged data. GeoCue states it computes accurate RTK and PPK point coordinates from LiDAR and visual SLAM data where there is no satellite signal. Where you do have coverage, GeoCue states its SLAM removes the need for traditional loop closure and overlap, so the walk need not double back. It advises minimizing scanning of glass facades and car windows, and against use in rain, snow or fog.

Absolute accuracy is under 5 cm RMS, and GeoCue does not publish the conditions behind it
GeoCue's table states less than 5 cm RMS horizontal and less than 5 cm RMS vertical, RMS being root mean square. Both carry a footnote reference. That footnote's text is not published on the product page, in the published specification table, in the TrueView GO 132S datasheet, or in the hardware users guide. So the headline accuracy figure comes without the survey conditions behind it. Confirm the figure rather than design a deliverable around it. Relative accuracy is 1 cm in the specification table and less than 1 cm in the datasheet.

GeoCue's own documents give two different figures for pulse rate, mass and height, so both appear
Pulse repetition rate is 640 kHz in GeoCue's specification table for this model, carrying GeoCue's own asterisk footnote reading enhanced versus the TrueView GO 116S. GeoCue's own TrueView GO 132S datasheet states 320 kHz. Mass is 1.7 kg including RTK and battery in that specification table and in the datasheet. The hardware users guide v1.0.2 states 1.9 kg on the same basis. Height is 317 mm in the datasheet and 178 mm in the users guide, on an agreed 213.5 by 126 mm footprint. One battery gives an hour of working time, and GeoCue lists three batteries and a charger with the system. A swap has a 60 second window, with the instrument held in the same position. Storage is 512 GB. GeoCue publishes two ways to buy: Traditional, a perpetual SLAM and LP360 plan, and FLEX, an annual SLAM and LP360 subscription. GeoCue states Traditional customers pay a basic maintenance fee for support and software updates. The amount is not published on its product page, in the FAQ there, in the specification table, in the datasheet or in the users guide. Nor is an NDAA or TAA compliance statement, nor an IP rating. GeoCue does state a one-year warranty, online training and one year of hardware and software support. It supports the system from Huntsville, Alabama, and states the hardware is made in China.
