GeoCue will not complete an order without a drone mount, so the aircraft you fly settles this first
GeoCue's own configurator will not complete a TrueView 1 order until a drone mount is chosen, and it names a separate kit per platform. Inspired Flight's IF800 Tomcat, its IF1200A and the DJI M350 are among them, and the mount panel names others. The antenna matters more than the bracket. GeoCue states that the only standard antenna configuration it has tested is the one delivered for the DJI M300 and M350 RTK platform. Every other platform uses the custom antenna installation guide delivered with the system. GeoCue warns that poor antenna placement can severely affect trajectory accuracy and photogrammetry results. The laser, the range and the accuracy are identical on all three cameras
GeoCue publishes one specification table for the payload and a separate table for its cameras. The payload table covers the scanner, the range, the pulse rate and the accuracy, and none varies by camera. The scanner is a Hesai XT32 M1, dual return, 32 beams, two returns per pulse, at 640 kHz. GeoCue's product page states the same rate as 640,000 points per second on a single return. Range is 120 m at 20 percent reflectivity, GeoCue's own test condition, so a darker surface returns from closer in. The point cloud does not change with the camera. Only the imagery does.

61 MP buys imagery you can sell, and it buys nothing else on this page
This configuration is 61 MP at 9564 by 6376 pixels, on a 36 by 24 mm sensor. Buy it when the imagery is a deliverable in its own right. That means selling the photographs, assessing condition or defects from them, or handing a client something to inspect on screen. What improves is the orthomosaic and how far into it you can zoom before it breaks up. If none of that describes your work, the 26 MP configuration produces the same survey. GeoCue's FAQ states the camera cannot be upgraded after purchase. One figure to settle with us. GeoCue publishes a ground sample distance of about 1.26 cm at 80 m for this camera. It publishes about 1.17 cm for the 45 MP at the same height, and does not explain why the higher resolution camera reads coarser.

3 cm typical accuracy is a 1 sigma figure at 50 m, nadir, with Strip Align applied
GeoCue publishes 3 cm typical accuracy and 3 cm typical precision, and both carry that same condition. It publishes point density and area covered as a graph rather than a table. Read off it, 80 m gives roughly 250 points per square meter and roughly 110 acres. Its stated conditions are 5 m/s, 20 percent overlap, an 80 degree field of view and a 40 minute flight. The specification table gives the payload a 120 degree cross-track field of view. So the graph assumes a narrower field of view than the table gives, and GeoCue does not explain the difference.

The correction service is the other decision that moves the price, and GeoCue describes it two ways
Single base is for PPK processing, post-processed kinematic, where you already have a base station. No base station uses a virtual correction service at processing time instead. GeoCue's product page presents that option as removing potential errors associated with a base station. Its own hardware user guide describes the same method differently, saying accuracy is reduced with it. It calls it a last resort for base station failure or a missing reference network. Both are GeoCue's own words, and it reconciles them nowhere. Its FAQ says the choice can be made again at each annual renewal, yet each service has its own part number and mass.

GeoCue publishes no ingress protection rating, and tells you to keep the payload out of the rain
Its caution is direct: do not expose the payload to rain, water, snow or high moisture environments. No ingress protection rating appears on GeoCue's product page, its configurator, its FAQ or the TrueView ONE hardware user guide. It warns separately that inadequate ventilation can cause overheating, malfunction, damage or fire. Storage is 128 GB internal plus one supplied 16 GB drive, which GeoCue says can fill in about an hour on a long-endurance drone. Its own advice is to fly with that drive removed.
07 FOR UNIVERSITIES, COLLEGES AND GOVERNMENT AGENCIES
GeoCue publishes two different lists of what is in the box, so this page prints neither as fact
Its product page lists the sensor, a thumb drive and a hard case. It adds a year of LP360 Drone software, a year of support and two days of training in Huntsville, Alabama. Its hardware user guide instead lists the payload, a travel case, a 16 GB flash drive, an AV14 GPS antenna and a debug cable. Neither list names a drone mount. GeoCue groups its drone LiDAR under Standard and NDAA, and puts the TrueView 1 under Standard. It publishes no NDAA compliance statement for it on its product page, its configurator, its FAQ or its hardware user guide. Ask, and we will get GeoCue's position in writing.
