Autel publishes no NDAA or Blue UAS claim for this aircraft, and public agencies are exactly who buys RTK

Autel Robotics is headquartered in Shenzhen, China. Autel makes no NDAA compliance claim, no Blue UAS claim and no federal procurement eligibility claim for this model. That absence holds across its product and specification page, its FAQ page, its printed brochure, its user manual and its safety guidelines. The Federal Communications Commission's Covered List carries a category entry, added December 22, 2025, covering uncrewed aircraft systems and UAS critical components produced abroad. It excepts equipment on the Blue UAS lists, and devices granted a Conditional Approval by the Department of War or Homeland Security. Autel Robotics is not a named company entry there, and no Autel product appears in its UAS Conditional Approvals table. That describes a federal document, not a procurement opinion. The RTK module is standard in this box, which is the whole difference between this package and the Rugged one

Autel states plainly that the RTK module is the standard configuration for the EVO II RTK Series V3. This box holds the aircraft with the module fitted, the 7.9 inch Smart Controller V3 and a hard protector case. The Rugged package is the same 20 MP camera without RTK, on the smaller 6.4 inch Smart Controller SE. The Enterprise package is a longer-armed 427 mm body with an ADS-B receiver, a spotlight, a loudspeaker and a strobe. On that one the RTK module is optional and not in the box. Both are carried on this store as their own listings. If your deliverable does not depend on centimeter positioning recorded in flight, the Rugged package is the right call.

1 cm + 1 ppm is the module's positioning accuracy, and it is not your deliverable accuracy

Autel's RTK module gives 1 cm + 1 ppm horizontal and 1.5 cm + 1 ppm vertical. The ppm term adds about 1 millimeter of error for every kilometer of baseline between the aircraft and the correction source. Those are the module's figures under a working correction stream. They are not a survey deliverable accuracy, which also depends on your flight plan, ground control, camera calibration and processing software. With RTK working the aircraft holds a hover to plus or minus 0.1 meters in both axes. Without it, hover is 0.1 vertical and 0.3 horizontal on visual positioning, and 0.5 by 1.5 meters on satellites alone.

NTRIP or PPK both work, and Autel's only fix-time figure sits in a table that does not describe this aircraft

Autel states the positioning system supports an RTK base station and an NTRIP network, and works with all NTRIP-compatible base stations. NTRIP is the internet protocol that carries correction data from a reference station to the aircraft. Autel states the Explorer app saves multiple NTRIP profiles, so a crew moving between sites does not input a new plan at each one. Autel also states the aircraft supports Post-Processed Kinematic work, recording original satellite observation data and camera exposure parameters. That lets a flight be corrected afterwards where there is no usable network link on site. Autel's current specification table, its FAQ page and its user manual give no time to a fixed solution for this model. Autel's product page carries an older table that gives under 50 seconds to first positioning, and its other rows do not describe this aircraft. Autel's 45 seconds from launch to takeoff is a deployment claim, not a fix time.

One 20 MP visual camera, and any thermal figure attached to this model belongs to a different aircraft

The camera is a 1 inch CMOS sensor at 20 MP, 82 degree field of view, 29 mm equivalent focal length, f/2.8 to f/11. Video is 6K at 5472 x 3076 up to 30 frames per second, 4K up to 60, 1080p up to 120. Video ISO runs 100 to 6400, with a night scene mode reaching ISO 44000. Autel's manual gives photo ISO 100 to 12800 and its specification table gives 100 to 6400 for the same camera. There is no thermal sensor on this aircraft. Autel's own RTK page carries a legacy block headed EVO II Pro RTK Camera whose rows describe a thermal camera. Autel's printed brochure and its user manual both list the 1 inch 20 MP visual camera under that heading.

Autel's own documents disagree in five places, and this page gives both sides rather than one

Flight time is 38 minutes maximum and 32 minutes hover, both with no wind. Autel's condition is a laboratory environment with the aircraft flying at a constant 10 meters per second in a light breeze. Its printed brochure gives 36 min for the same aircraft. Transmission is 10 kilometers under FCC and 8 under CE, with no interference and no obstruction. The controller block on Autel's own page and its brochure both give 15 km. Autel's manual gives a maximum flight mileage of 21 km where its specification table gives 25 km. Wind resistance is a flat 12 meters per second in the manual, split by the specification page into 10.7 for takeoff and landing and 12 in cruise. Autel's product page states this series has no no-fly zones and will not prevent takeoff. Its user manual documents factory-installed permanent no-fly zones the aircraft cannot take off in, with an unlocking procedure.

Autel publishes two packing documents for this package, so confirm the contents and your correction source first

The printed list names a 32 GB memory card and the protector case, and counts six printed documents. Autel's user manual carries its own table, which adds a lens cleaning cloth and a product certification. That table names neither the memory card nor the protector case. Both documents are Autel's. Autel states the battery must be pre-heated before takeoff below 10 degrees C and cannot be hot swapped. Autel also warns against third-party batteries and chargers. Who should not buy it: anyone who needs a thermal sensor, or a spotlight, loudspeaker or strobe in the box.
