FJD's own manual introduces this chapter around the combined use of the Trion S1 laser scanner and Trion Model software. It segments a scanned point cloud tree by tree, then measures height, crown width and standing volume
The module first extracts ground points from the forestry scene, which the manual describes as critical for the segmentation step that follows. It then segments the point cloud tree by tree, and lets you add, merge or delete individual trees in the result. From there it removes the scanner operator's own support pole from the data, analyzes crown width, calculates standing timber volume by species, runs a separate carbon-storage calculation, and identifies tree species from panoramic imagery. Output is a single-tree distribution map and a batch report.

It is a paid add-on to the base Trion Model license, not a standalone program
This module requires a base Trion Model license and is not sold or usable on its own. FJD sells it as a 1-year or a permanent license, each at its own separate price, activated with a code entered in the software after purchase. If the license expires, FJD's own instruction is to contact its technical support.
